In the Slavic tradition, this day is called Dziady, a celebration that parallels the Christian All Saints’ Day. The word Dziady comes from “grandfather” or “ancestor.” On this day, the living honour those who came before us and now dwell beyond the veil. We share with them food, memory, blessings, and silence.
The celestial alignment on this day is profound, and as I’m in the midst of a 9-Day Sound Medicine Retreat, I feel called to share its message, one that seems to touch every soul participating in this collective journey.
Currently in the sky we have two Grand Water Trines and this is what they are saying:
First Grand Water Trine
Sun in Scorpio seeks truth, depth, and transformation, illuminating what must end to allow renewal.
Moon in Pisces, compassionate and imaginative, is conjunct the North Node (point of soul growth and release) and Nessus, an asteroid symbolising inherited trauma and ancestral shadows passed through generations.
Asteroid Hygeia in Cancer, guardian of health and holistic wellbeing, completes this trine, emphasising healing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.
Together, this Grand Water Trine offers a current of emotional and spiritual connection, an invitation to healing and release through compassion and surrender.
- What emotional patterns or inherited memories am I ready to release with love?
- Where is forgiveness asking to flow more freely within me?
Second Grand Water Trine
Saturn in Pisces closes unfinished themes and teaches compassionate maturity, especially regarding elders, leaders, and spiritual responsibility.
Jupiter in Cancer expands awareness around home, family, and belonging, guiding healing through nurturing and emotional safety.
Mars in Scorpio offers deep, instinctive, often unconscious drive into understanding power dynamics, hidden motivations, our desires, conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius, fuels courageous truth telling, revealing hidden motivations and empowering authentic expression.
- What unspoken truths am I ready to voice?
- How can I balance courage with compassion when expressing what lies beneath the surface?
Venus in Libra Opposite Chiron in Aries
Venus in Libra seeks harmony through fairness and reconciliation. It values relationships where every voice is heard.
Opposing Chiron in Aries, this alignment may reopen wounds around “Do I have the right to exist as I am?”, inviting us to heal our relationship with self-assertion, desire, and willpower.
- Do I honour my individuality while seeking peace with others?
- Where do I silence myself to maintain harmony?
Essence of the Day
This is a sacred time to speak with those who came before us, whether in spirit or living memory and to acknowledge, accept and heal ancestral wounds. The energies of this day support deep emotional work, forgiveness, and reconnection through the heart.
- What wisdom do my ancestors whisper through silence?
- How can I honour them by living more truthfully, more freely, more whole?
Stay Safe, Take care and Love the One you Are
