New Moon in Pisces, March 19, 2026

New Moon in Pisces

The upcoming New Moon occurs at 28°27′ Pisces, in the very last degrees of the zodiac.

Every New Moon represents a moment of seeding new ideas and intentions, foundations that will unfold and be tested over the coming months.

These seeds will develop until the Full Moon in Pisces with a Lunar Eclipse on 28 August 2026, when the results of what begins now may become fully visible.

But because this lunation happens in the final degrees of Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, we are also speaking about endings.

Not small endings.

Big endings.

Big release.

Big letting go.

This is the closing of a cycle before the zodiac begins again with Aries.

Seeking Meaning

When the Sun and Moon meet in Pisces, the focus naturally turns toward meaning, purpose, and spiritual understanding.

Pisces experiences life through the lens of the collective, through empathy, imagination, and emotional sensitivity.

This lunation may ask a simple but profound question:

Are you happy with your life?

This is an invitation to accept life in all its colours, both the bright and the dark.

Can we embrace the beautiful parts of life while also acknowledging its difficulties, its uncertainties, and its shadow?

We can try to focus on the most hopeful version of reality we wish to believe in. But life always contains both day and night, and denying one side can lead to profound disillusionment, something strongly associated with Neptune, the ruler of Pisces.

This New Moon asks for honesty with ourselves.

Devotion and Surrender

There is also a deeper theme here: devotion to a cause.

With Neptune alongside Saturn in Aries, (full article here) there is a powerful emphasis on creating a new world order, both in the collective world and within each of us individually.

Yet Pisces energy can blur boundaries. During this lunation, it may be easy to lose ourselves in collective emotions, social concerns, or the expectations of others.

This is why it becomes important to ask:

Do you remember your own needs?

Your feelings?

Your inner truth?

This period may show us the places where we cannot control life, and where we must instead surrender to larger forces.

Sometimes the lesson is learning how to flow with the currents of life, improvising and adapting rather than forcing outcomes. The key may lie in maintaining devotion and service, even when the path ahead is uncertain.

Roots, Family, and Belonging

Another theme emerging now involves home, belonging, and ancestry.

With Jupiter moving forward through Cancer (full article here), questions about family and roots may become more prominent.

You might feel a desire to reconnect more deeply with your family line, your heritage, or your emotional foundations.

Or perhaps the opposite.

You may find yourself asking:

Do I want to deepen these connections?

Or is it time to create distance and redefine my sense of home?

Both paths are possible.

Going “All In”

This New Moon in Pisces may bring a feeling of wanting to go “all in” on a new idea, belief, or direction in life.

You may feel drawn toward a new updated value system, or toward plans that could lead to significant changes in your life.

There is potential here for great enthusiasm and hope, the sense that a new and happier chapter could begin.

At the same time, some people may feel called to take responsibility for something larger than themselves, perhaps even sacrificing personal comfort in service of a greater vision.

This can become a powerful form of empowerment.

When we truly believe in something, that belief can inspire service, courage, and devotion.

During this time, adaptation and acceptance will be key.

Power and Authority

Another important influence during this period is the supportive sextile between Pluto and Saturn.

Although this aspect is generally cooperative, it still carries deep themes of power, responsibility, and authority.

We should remember that the last exact conjunction between these two planets in 2020 coincided with the beginning of the COVID‑19 pandemic, a moment that profoundly reshaped global structures.

When Saturn and Pluto interact, questions often arise about the

use, or misuse of power.

This energy can shine a spotlight on leaders, governments, and institutions.

Are they transparent or corrupt?

Are they using power responsibly, or abusing it?

Can we trust them?

The time of testing may not yet be over.

And once again the deeper question returns:

Are you happy with your life?

Preparing for Acceleration

We are slowly moving out of Pisces and toward Aries.

In the coming months, the pace of life may begin to accelerate significantly.

A key shift arrives when Mercury turns direct on 21 March, after several weeks of retrograde motion that may have slowed our thinking, communication, travel, and decision making.

Energy will gradually begin to move again.

This is a beautiful time to reconnect with nature, with mountains, forests, and water.

It is also a moment to refine our projects and begin sharing them with the wider world.

Something new is forming.

We are building energy. Creating new structures. Expanding our perception.

And we are slowly approaching a major turning point, which in my view may arrive around mid August, especially near 12 August and the Solar Eclipse.

By that time, our lives may look very different from the ones we know today.

But there are still many lunations ahead.

And many chapters of this story still waiting to unfold.
