Some foundations are built from fear.
Others are built from truth.
The Full Moon in Capricorn invites us to recognise the difference.
We are entering one of the most intense time of this year in July and August 2026.
There comes a moment in every soul's journey when the structures that once protected us begin to feel too small for the person we are becoming. What once provided certainty may now feel restrictive. Responsibilities that once gave life purpose may begin to feel heavy, while dreams that have quietly waited in the background ask to be acknowledged.
This Full Moon is one of those moments.
From an Evolutionary Astrology perspective, every lunation offers an opportunity to move away from an old pattern and towards greater authenticity. The Capricorn Full Moon shines a light on the structures we have created, our careers, responsibilities, relationships, beliefs, and even our identity, and gently asks whether they are still aligned with the evolution of our soul.

The Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Capricorn opposite the Sun in Cancer.
Cancer reminds us of our emotional world.

Capricorn reminds us of responsibility.
It teaches discipline, perseverance, morality, commitment and the structures we build to navigate life.

The South Node in Virgo represents familiar ways of navigating life.
It teaches discernment, service, organisation and practical wisdom.
These are beautiful qualities.
Yet every gift can become a defence mechanism.
Many of us have spent years believing that safety comes through preparation.
Through fixing. Through understanding every detail.
Through becoming indispensable. We become the dependable one.
The problem solver. The perfectionist.

Eventually, what once protected us becomes exhausting.
