This New Moon happens on the final degree of Virgo, accompanied by a Solar Eclipse. This is the second New Moon in Virgo, in a row. In between these New Moons we had a Full Moon with a Total Lunar Eclipse (see previous report). This continues a trilogy that should now offer a much clearer vision of what it all means in our lives.
The New Moon creates a Kite pattern with Neptune in Aries, Saturn in Pisces, Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. Together with the Solar Eclipse, this is a powerful, karmic, and fated alignment.
This could be a culminating step to leave behind and release old habits and patterns of guilt, self-criticism and shame.
Themes arise around work and service. It’s a good time to reconnect with the motivation behind the work/service we offer and ask ourselves:
How much of our time and energy are we giving in service or work?
Do we have a healthy balance between work/service and our wellbeing ?
Do our daily routines support our health, and functionality?
Do they provide real security and sustainability?
Saturn in Pisces and Neptune in Aries ask us to discern what is real and what is illusion. Where we need more structure and where we must surrender. What to let go of and when to stand up for what we believe in. However, these two placements can be foggy and difficult to navigate at times.
Uranus in Gemini (read extended article) supports revolutions and upgrades, sometimes shocking and disruptive. It offers new ways of thinking about ourselves and each other, new ways of communicating, and an awareness of how everything is interconnected. Which can offer a bird’s-eye view and mental clarity, connecting us to natural self-expression and our higher mind. The downside can be too much information, scattered thinking, and disruptive thoughts. Squaring Venus in Virgo may highlight health issues, perfectionism, and anxiety.
Pluto in Aquarius may bring unconscious feelings to the surface such as loss, rupture, violation of trust and crisis, which can all be paths to radical personal and collective transformation and liberation.
Mars adds fuel to the Pluto themes, and engages Neptune and Chiron pointing to choices that must be made around relationships/alliances, pointing to endings and new beginnings.
Mars’ strategy: never give up, even when all seems lost, focus, learning from defeat, never repeating mistakes.
This is a time to cut external noise and step into contemplation, meditation and visualisation, creating a new version of yourself with sovereignty and integrity. Through daily spiritual practice and care for the body, our emotions and will can seed a new world we want to live in. One where we cultivate empathy with boundaries, and well-being and service with integrity.
Stay Safe, Take Care and Love the One you Are,
